XL Cesta Tote

Their multicolor cesta totes bring the best combinations of color together with the precision of traditional weaving. Designed by ixöq and handwoven by their partner artisans in Guatemala, using threads of recycled plastic, these ‘cesta’ totes are modeled on the traditional market bags you see throughout Latin American and come in a variety of colors and designs created for the US market.

The multicolor striped bags are fun and colorful and perfect at the beach, the market, as a carry-on, for the office, the gym, basically anywhere that you'd like an attractive and sturdy carry-all bag. They are very durable and easy to wipe down/clean and they are 100% vegan. The fall version was featured in the June 2021 issue of HGTV! Feliz was our new cesta design of 2021; Mucho was early 2022 & our new summer bag in 2022 (available by special order only) was LA PLAYA! In 2023 we introduced our rainbow design 'arco iris' & our more subtle design 'WHIMSY!', which is a veritable landscape of color. In 2024 we've added 'Nuevo24', a tribute to Pantone's Color of the Year 'Peach Fuzz' & la Tormenta, which only had a brief run until we're able to source the right colors again.

Each cesta tote comes with a decorative tassel.
